Copenhagen Jazz Festival & Summer Concerts
I don't know about you, but the heat has really hit Denmark — and it makes me even more excited for all the summer concerts ahead. You can read more about them in this newsletter. There are also a couple of releases I'd love to tell you about.
Ocean Fanfare – Third Nature
I've been playing with the band Ocean Fanfare for many years now, and our fourth album is coming out very soon (June 12th). It's the third record in the Nature trilogy. Our saxophonist Sven Meinild has built a website for us where you can read a lot more and watch some pretty fun videos. Check it out here.

Richard Andersson Trio feat. Sullivan Fortner & Jorge Rossy
Later in June (June 26th), the first single with this trio will be released. The track is called Comes Love, a jazz standard by Sam H. Stept, reimagined in 5/4, giving the melody a light, dancing drive that feels fresh without losing the warmth of the original. And to experience how Sullivan plays it is amazing! I'm actually heading out to hear Sullivan play solo at Montmartre this Saturday, and I'm incredibly excited about it! He's truly exceptional at this particular discipline, so I'm sure it's going to be fantastic.
