Help us finish what we started

After a long and eventful summer, I'm settling back into everyday life — kids up at 6:45, breakfast, off to school — before I can finally sit down here at the computer. Most people probably picture a musician's life as mostly concerts and practicing, but I have to admit most of my working hours happen right here at my home office: booking concerts, sorting out tour logistics, applying for funding for travel and releases, and all kinds of other computer work. And here I am now, writing this newsletter to you, so I hope you'll enjoy reading it. 

In this newsletter I only want to tell you about one thing: on January 15 next year, I'm releasing an album with my new project alongside Sullivan Fortner and Jorge Rossy. We're currently working on the cover art, and I've brought in photographer Mads Fisker to create it. He's also taken photos of the trio and filmed video from the studio, so I'm confident it's going to be great. 

This is where you come in. If you'd like to support the production of the album, there are three ways to do it. If you choose Premium, you'll also get your name printed inside the cover — and I really hope you will! It's what will let me afford printing the LPs and CDs. The cover needs to be finalized by October 1, so if you want to be part of it, you'll need to place your Premium pre-order before then. What do you think — would this be something for you?
